Freedom Networks is hiring a full-time, permanent Civils Operative for its Small Works team supporting Northern Powergrid contracts across the North East. The role involves excavation and reinstatement, supporting project managers and supervisors, maintaining health and safety standards, completing documentation, engaging with customers and landowners, and delivering works to quality specifications. Candidates need civils, utilities, excavation, or reinstatement experience, health and safety awareness, teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills, and a full UK driving licence; NRSWA accreditation, utility or power distribution experience, plant operator tickets, and public highway excavation experience are desirable. The salary is up to £33,000 plus flexible benefits, including pension, annual leave, private medical insurance, and dental insurance.
