Description
The Process Engineer serves as the technical link between Production, Quality Assurance, Engineering, and R&D, leading continuous improvement of manufacturing processes through data analysis, variation reduction, parameter optimization, and preventive and corrective actions. The role focuses on improving operational performance and product quality, reducing defects and rework, managing distressed batches and out-of-specification products, standardizing processes, supporting new projects and equipment commissioning, and collaborating across functions on batch support, process validations, scale-up, and customer-complaint investigations. Required qualifications include a university degree in Industrial, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering or a similar field, Lean Manufacturing facilitator training, industrial-process experience, statistical skills in Minitab or similar, AutoCAD or similar drawing preparation, and one year of work experience at a paint plant.
