Description
The entry-level Professional Claim Handler manages medical-only and indemnity workers’ compensation claims, including coverage verification, compensability and causal-injury investigations, return-to-work coordination, reserve setting, medical-bill approval, subrogation documentation, settlement negotiation, and file closure. The role requires a bachelor’s degree or relevant education and experience, at least one year of relevant experience or completion of a claims trainee program, computer proficiency, knowledge of workers’ compensation law, and strong communication and negotiation skills. The position is performed in an office or remotely with minimal travel, and the stated pay range is $48,200 to $80,750.
