Description
The Claim Director investigates and settles high-exposure Employment Practices Liability claims, including class actions, and manages complex coverage and litigation matters through trial. The role handles substantial claim caseloads, evaluates coverage, liability, and damages, sets reserves, coordinates experts and defense counsel, negotiates settlements, reports to reinsurers, and supports business leaders on claims and underwriting issues. It requires approximately 5–7 years of claims or legal experience in the EPL area, with a law degree preferred, and offers a pay range of $98,400 to $141,600 plus possible discretionary annual incentives.
