Description
The Casualty Claims Director investigates and settles high-exposure, high-severity casualty claims; analyzes coverage and liability; directs expert and defense-counsel assignments; sets reserves; manages litigation; and coordinates with insureds, brokers, and claimants. The role requires a bachelor’s degree, preferably a JD, at least five years of casualty-claims experience, and the ability to travel. The disclosed pay range is $83,600 to $119,900, with possible discretionary annual incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.
