Richmond National is hiring a full-time Claims Examiner in Richmond, Virginia, to investigate, evaluate, and settle commercial liability claims. The role involves reviewing coverage, liability, and damages; writing coverage and liability position letters; interviewing claimants and witnesses; negotiating settlements; and maintaining accurate records. Candidates need at least two years of commercial general liability claims handling experience, a bachelor’s degree, strong communication and negotiation skills, and knowledge of commercial liability insurance policies and claims procedures. The expected base salary is $65,000-$85,000 annually, with an annual bonus program and medical, dental, vision, retirement, disability, and paid time-off benefits.
