Markel is hiring a Claims Handler for its Prompt Resolution Team in Leeds on a hybrid basis, working four days in the office and one day from home. The role manages a portfolio of low-value property, liability, and injury claims from first notification through resolution, including water, storm, fire, theft, accidental damage, and property and equipment losses. Responsibilities include reviewing policy coverage, liaising with customers, brokers, loss adjusters and third parties, making outbound calls, prioritising work, and meeting service standards.
