Tesco Insurance and Money Services is hiring a full-time Claims Handler - Settlements in Newcastle to manage motor insurance claims from investigation through settlement. The role involves assessing liability, reviewing evidence, negotiating with suppliers and third parties, managing reserves and recoveries, identifying fraud, and supporting vulnerable customers. Candidates need strong motor insurance knowledge, claims caseload experience, negotiation and problem-solving skills, and stakeholder management ability. The position starts with six weeks of office-based training and offers hybrid working after competency, with an office attendance schedule of Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00.
