Description
Sperry Rail Service is hiring a Commercial Driver for a field-based rail inspection role requiring extensive travel throughout Canada, typically 3 to 4 months at a time. The driver operates hi-rail trucks and rail-bound detection cars, performs vehicle and equipment inspections and maintenance, monitors onboard inspection-system data, conducts ground inspections, and supports rail flaw detection activities. The position requires a valid Canadian Class 1 driver's license with an air brake endorsement where required, English communication ability, basic mechanical aptitude, and the ability to meet the stated physical and sensory requirements. Compensation is $24.00 per hour, with overtime, meals, and travel and accommodation expenses.
