Description
Messer is hiring a driver to deliver industrial gases and equipment products to local customers using a 5- or 10-ton truck. The role involves loading and unloading cylinders, balancing cylinder logs, processing deliveries with handheld technology, reconciling inventory, complying with regulations, and maintaining vehicles. Candidates need a Class 3 driver’s licence, at least one year of driving experience with recognized training or three years of experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, a clean driving record, the ability to lift up to 60 pounds, and strong communication skills. Knowledge of the gas or welding industry, handheld electronic-device experience, and WHMIS/TDG certification are assets. The position offers a fixed Monday-to-Friday schedule, paid vacation, benefits, retirement planning, training, and a uniform.
