Description
BlueLinx is hiring a Class A CDL driver to transport freight on flatbed and curtain-side trailers without tarping. The role involves securing loads, delivering freight, handling customer product returns, managing proof-of-delivery paperwork, communicating with customers, completing safety and DOT inspections, maintaining electronic logs and trip reports, and directing customer unloading when needed. The position offers a starting fixed pay rate of $30 per hour, weekend home time, and medical, dental, vision, prescription, life insurance, 401K, paid time off, holiday pay, and tuition reimbursement. Applicants must hold a valid Class A CDL, be at least 21 years old, have 12 months of recent verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the past three years, maintain a safe driving record, be able to secure loads, and work in all weather conditions.
