Clean Harbors is hiring a Class A CDL Driver in Rockford, Illinois to operate heavy- and light-duty trucks and work equipment at customer sites for hazardous-waste clean-up. The role includes loading and unloading, manual labor, vehicle placarding, compliance reporting, and emergency or project work that may require travel up to two weeks. Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are preferred, and new hires must complete two weeks of company-paid academy training out of state. The schedule is typically Monday through Friday with an average start time of 6–7 a.m., overtime after 40 hours, and on-call availability every other week. Pay is $27–$30 per hour, with health benefits after 30 days of full-time employment and a 401(k) company match.
