Description
The Class A Mechanic performs inspection, repair, replacement, testing, adjustment, diagnosis, and serviceability checks on combustion-propelled vehicles and related maintenance equipment. The role requires heavy-duty diesel, automotive, aviation, or marine repair experience, the ability to instruct coworkers, read technical documents, operate shop tools, and own a complete hand-tool set. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, a Class A commercial driver's license or permit with passenger and combination endorsement, and must be able to work in a heated garage. The schedule is initially Monday through Friday on a rotating 44-day probation schedule, with possible day, evening, or night shifts after probation.
