Description
CLASS peer subject tutors provide one-on-one or small-group tutoring to Saint Xavier University students across academic disciplines. They explain course content, teach academic success skills, document sessions in Navigate, may collaborate with professors to support tutoring services, attend required training and professional development, and maintain confidentiality, professionalism, dependability, and punctuality. The role is limited to up to 10 hours per week and requires current Saint Xavier University student status, a 3.0 GPA, a B or better in the tutored course, strong subject knowledge, advanced communication and analytical skills, and the ability to work encouragingly and independently with diverse peers.
