Description
The Export Classification Specialist supports export operations by maintaining part-number databases, updating United States and Mexico trade regulations, assisting with domestic and international classification audits, classifying imported products, resolving classification issues, and providing customer support for customs-clearance restrictions. The role requires a two-year vocational or technical certificate in import/export or a related field, five years of classification experience or equivalent training, and knowledge of Mexican customs laws, harmonized tariff schedules, and English-Spanish communication. It is an office-based role with rotating shifts, extended workdays, on-call status, and physical duties including light lifting and climbing stairs and ladders.
