The Classroom Aide supports Head Start educators by creating a positive learning environment for young children aged 0-5. Responsibilities include assisting with classroom management, record-keeping, food service, and supporting staff during absences. The aide observes children, prepares materials, helps with screenings, assists with feeding infants, supervises meal times, and ensures adherence to educational standards like CACFP and KDHE licensing. They also engage with families, coordinate child development progress, and participate in home visits.
