Description
The School-Based Student Support Specialist supervises students throughout the school day and implements individualized educational and therapeutic programs, including therapeutic pool and specially designed physical education. The role supports gross and fine motor development, activities of daily living, toileting, dressing, eating, behavioral support, classroom safety, equipment care, observation, and communication with teachers, clinicians, supervisors, parents, and caregivers. It requires a high school diploma or GED, English proficiency, and applicants must be at least 18 years old.
