Description
The Classroom Assistant works under the supervision of a Center Teacher to support children in a group setting, including planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities, assisting special-needs children, supporting self-help and daily routines, maintaining a respectful and independent environment, communicating with families and staff, evaluating program progress, and helping with food preparation and classroom cleanup. The role requires early-childhood education coursework or enrollment, six months of experience with young children, dependability, flexibility, effective communication, and the ability to lift and move children and objects safely.
