Description
Northwestern Medicine is hiring a full-time Client Office Phlebotomist-Float for a 40-hour-per-week schedule, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with two weekends per month and flexibility for client-site hours. The role performs phlebotomy and laboratory specimen collection and processing, patient care, specimen tracking, laboratory-result follow-up, clerical work, and travel to client sites in the far Western suburbs, including Geneva, Elgin, Sandwich, and surrounding areas. Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and either nationally recognized phlebotomy certification, phlebotomy school or medical institution training, or at least one year of phlebotomy experience in a healthcare setting; preferred qualifications include broad-patient phlebotomy experience, laboratory specimen-processing experience, EMR familiarity, medical terminology knowledge, and a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
