Client Office Phlebotomist FLOAT-Full-time Days RM at Northwestern Medicine

Northwestern Medicine is hiring a full-time Client Office Phlebotomist-Float to perform phlebotomy and laboratory specimen collection, process specimens, maintain quality-control records, coordinate laboratory orders, and provide patient care. The role requires working Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., two weekends per month, and flexibility for client-site hours; it also requires driving to client sites in the Geneva area and surrounding suburbs. Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent and either nationally recognized phlebotomy certification, phlebotomy school or medical-institution training, or at least one year of healthcare phlebotomy experience. Preferred qualifications include broad-patient phlebotomy experience, laboratory specimen-processing experience, EMR familiarity, medical terminology knowledge, and a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
