Description
Northwestern Medicine is hiring a full-time Client Office Phlebotomist-Float to perform phlebotomy and laboratory specimen collection, process and label specimens, maintain quality-control records, coordinate laboratory orders, and provide patient care. The role requires travel to client sites in downtown Chicago and the Northside of Chicago, with a Monday-through-Friday schedule and two weekends per month, plus flexibility for variable client hours. Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent and phlebotomy certification or training, or at least one year of healthcare phlebotomy experience; preferred qualifications include broad-patient experience, laboratory-processing experience, EMR familiarity, medical terminology knowledge, and a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
