Description
The Dermatology Specialist Clinical Assistant supports the patient care team in a dermatology clinic by performing patient care activities, accommodative services, and technical procedures under the direction of the Clinical Manager. The role may require travel to satellite clinics and follows a full-time schedule of 30–40 hours per week, with possible shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or until patient care is complete. Preferred qualifications include a four-year health sciences degree, accredited medical assistant certification, or two years of clinical assisting or scribing experience in dermatology; current CPR certification is required within six months of hire, and ACDT provisional certification is expected during probation.
