Description
Worldwide Clinical Trials is hiring a clinical coding professional to code adverse events, medical and surgical histories, medications, and other medical terminology for clinical research studies. The role supports study start-up and EDC databases, contributes to data management plans, performs user acceptance testing, maintains and updates coding dictionaries, generates and reviews coding consistency reports, communicates with sponsors, monitors quality, timelines, budgets, and coding issues, improves coding processes and technology, mentors junior staff, and acts as backup to the Manager of Clinical Coding and Data Management. The position requires a degree-level education or nursing qualification/relevant industry experience, experience with standard medical dictionaries such as MedDRA and WHO-DD, and at least three years of clinical data coding or related industry experience.
