Description
The Bioethics Consultant manages bioethics-related issues at designated Sutter Health hospitals, handling ethics consultations, documentation, communication, follow-up, policy implementation, education, and preventive ethics. The role advises physicians, staff, patients, and families; supports hospital ethics committees; and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams. It requires a doctorate in ethics or a related area, knowledge of healthcare ethics, California health care law, Joint Commission standards, and conflict resolution, and is a full-time, regular, exempt position with a stated annual salary range.
