Description
The GS-7 Clinical Expanded Function Dental Assistant performs advanced clinical duties at least 25% of the time, including chairside assisting, diagnostic information gathering, advanced dental imaging, infection control, patient charting, dental laboratory procedures, and expanded restorative and surgical support. The role requires U.S. citizenship, English proficiency, a qualifying dental assistant education or experience pathway, DANB certification, and completion of required training and physical evaluations. The schedule is Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every other Friday, with ad hoc telework possible.
