Description
This per diem (PRN) Medical Technologist performs complex laboratory tests, applies medical technology principles, and produces reliable results to support patient diagnosis and treatment. The role also trains laboratory personnel, supports laboratory administration with validation, quality control, performance improvement, policy and procedure maintenance, and nursing and physician support, and may serve as a section supervisor or backup administrative director. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field, Florida clinical laboratory technologist licensure, at least five years of full-time technical experience, BLS certification, strong communication and computer skills, and proficiency with an electronic health record system.
