Description
The Clinical Laboratory Preanalytical Processing Specialist performs high-volume preanalytical specimen processing in a clinical hospital laboratory, including specimen collection verification, centrifuging, aliquoting, labeling, distribution, transit-list preparation, and special-sample handling. The role also supports laboratory equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, EPIC order entry, quality-management activities, inventory and supply coordination, regulatory inspection preparation, and training of new processors. A high school diploma or GED is required, a bachelor’s or associate degree in science is preferred, and at least one year of laboratory experience or six months of inpatient phlebotomy experience at TCHHN is required.
