Description
The Registered Nurse will provide physical, emotional, and spiritual support to patients, families, and significant others in the Emergency Department at Miami Valley Hospital North. The role uses the nursing process and evidence-based principles to care for a diverse caseload, collaborates with the interprofessional team, and maintains compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act and applicable standards. The position requires graduation from an accredited nursing school, a valid Ohio RN license, current AHA BLS certification at hire, and at least one year of acute care hospital experience; a BSN and previous emergency department experience are preferred.
