Temple University’s LKSOM/Central Animal Facilities division is hiring a Clinical Veterinarian at the Associate or Senior level to support research animal use. The role provides hands-on clinical care, colony management, diagnostics, medication monitoring, anesthesia, euthanasia, and research procedural support for a wide range of laboratory species. It also includes regulatory compliance, quality assurance, IACUC participation, protocol review, staff supervision, consultation, and limited teaching. The position requires a VMD/DVM, Pennsylvania veterinary licensure or ability to obtain it within three months, and relevant laboratory animal medicine experience; it is on-site.
