SBCS is hiring a full-time School-Based Clinician for its School-Based Skill Building program in the San Ysidro School District. The role provides trauma-informed social-emotional mental health prevention and early-intervention services to Medi-Cal-eligible students in grades 4 through 8 and their families, including assessment, crisis intervention, case management, individual and family therapy, group therapy, psychoeducation, safety planning, care coordination, documentation, and reporting. The clinician works Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with availability to work until 7 p.m. two evenings per week, and must meet caseload and billing expectations. Compensation is $100,000 for licensed therapists with LMFT, LMSW, LCSW, or LPCC credentials, and $75,000 for licensed-eligible therapists with AMFT, ASW, APCC, or ACSW credentials. The position requires a master’s degree, current BBS registration or active intern number, counseling experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; Spanish fluency is preferred.
