Ballard Spahr is hiring a hybrid Closing Coordinator for its Housing Finance team in Washington, D.C. The role supports real estate lending transactions by drafting, reviewing, proofreading, organizing, and assembling loan and closing documents; tracking pending transactions, checklists, deadlines, and deal status; coordinating with internal staff and external transaction parties; managing post-closing delivery packages, logistics, documentation, and binders; and maintaining confidentiality. A four-year degree is preferred, along with 5+ years of relevant paralegal or closing-coordinator experience in real estate lending and intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe/Nuance, and document management systems. Familiarity with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and HUD multifamily financing is prioritized. The position is hybrid with three days in the office and offers a targeted salary of $80,000–$100,000.
