Description
The role focuses on product development cost engineering for automotive closures and exterior components. Responsibilities include researching cost and technical parameters, performing BOM cost calculations, developing target-cost and DtC/VAVE recommendations, preparing technical and costing reports, and coordinating with OEMs, suppliers, and global technical or costing experts to support new-product development and project delivery. The position requires more than five years of relevant experience, BOM and supply-chain costing knowledge, stamping or forging manufacturing and costing expertise, a bachelor's degree in a related engineering field, and strong communication and teamwork skills.
