Quantum Systems is hiring a Backend/IoT Engineer to build cloud services, APIs, data pipelines, dashboards, and alerts that connect interceptors, launch boxes, engineering teams, and field operations. The role focuses on device identity, software versions, configurations, fleet health, secure backend services, resilient communication workflows, and automated processing of flight logs, telemetry, video, and sensor data. Candidates should have experience in cloud, backend, data-platform, IoT, or distributed-systems engineering, strong programming skills in Python, Go, Java, TypeScript, or a comparable language, and familiarity with APIs, databases, object storage, message queues, data pipelines, telemetry, observability, or connected-device systems.
