Description

Kyndryl is hiring an Infrastructure Architect to lead cloud architecture and migration projects for enterprise customers, primarily on Google Cloud Platform with AWS secondary. The role involves architecture workshops, Terraform and Ansible infrastructure automation, CI/CD and GitOps pipelines, cloud security, migration strategy, architecture reviews, and documentation. Candidates need hands-on experience with GCP and AWS, infrastructure-as-code tools, DevSecOps, scripting, and relevant professional certifications.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Technical architect experience with public cloud IaaS and PaaS platforms, primarily GCP and AWS
Cloud-native architecture and distributed enterprise application implementation experience
Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, GitHub, AWS CodePipeline, Puppet, and Chef
Multi-tier architecture experience
Infrastructure design experience across compute, storage, and networking
Cloud security experience
Linux and Windows expertise
Scripting experience with YAML, Python, Shell, Bash, and PowerShell
Jenkins release pipeline and Chef/Puppet/Ansible configuration management experience
Experience with at least one configuration management tool
Preferred Qualifications: Experience leading architecture workshops with AWS enterprise customers and partners
Experience building CloudFormation templates and Chef cookbooks
Experience architecting AWS cloud solutions and designing data-center-to-cloud migrations
Experience performing architecture reviews and cost optimization
Experience documenting technical architecture frameworks and workflows
Experience delivering immutable infrastructure-as-code solutions
DevSecOps implementation experience as an SRE or lead
Experience with source code management, CI, and CD
Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines with AWS or traditional DevOps tools
Experience implementing pipelines and integrating DevOps tools
Experience with Terraform, CI/CD, automation, GitOps, GKE, Anthos Config Management, and GCVE automation
Ability to automate infrastructure, platform deployments, and configuration workflows
Cloud migration architecture and delivery experience
End-to-end migration architecture experience
GCP landing zone and target-state design experience
Migration strategy and pattern governance experience
Cloud migration tool selection experience
GCP migration tooling architecture oversight experience
