Description
Aference is hiring a Cloud/Backend Engineer to design, develop, test, and troubleshoot cloud-based software and database solutions, including SDK and middleware interfaces. The role leads complex technical objectives, provides technical leadership and mentorship, collaborates with cross-functional teams, and supports data interfaces, infrastructure, testing, security, scalability, and performance. It requires a bachelor’s or advanced degree in a relevant technical field and 3–5+ years of software, cloud, and backend development experience, with experience across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, relational and NoSQL databases, APIs, and relevant programming languages. The position is on-site in Cleveland, Ohio, with compensation of $147,000 to $165,000 per year at 100% FTE and medical, dental, vision, life, STD, FSA, equity, and self-managed PTO benefits.
