Description

GES is hiring a Cloud Engineer III to support the Defense Enclave Services Operations and Maintenance program for DISA and Department of Defense customers. The role designs, implements, automates, and sustains secure enterprise cloud solutions across AWS and Azure, including infrastructure as code, CI/CD, cloud migrations, troubleshooting, security, monitoring, documentation, and technical leadership. It requires an active DoD Secret clearance or higher, United States citizenship, and extensive enterprise cloud and infrastructure experience.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 10+ years of experience; additional experience may be considered in lieu of the degree.
Required Previous Experiences: Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise cloud solutions in AWS and/or Azure environments.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, ARM/Bicep, or CloudFormation.
Experience implementing automation solutions using tools such as Ansible, PowerShell, Azure Functions, or similar technologies.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps methodologies.
Experience supporting production enterprise environments in an operations and maintenance capacity.
Experience supporting DISA or DoD enterprise environments.
Experience supporting large-scale enterprise migrations or hybrid cloud environments.
Preferred Qualifications: Industry cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator Associate, or equivalent.
Familiarity with the Atlassian tool suite, including Jira and Confluence.
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes or OpenShift.
