Description
Daylight is hiring a Cloud FinOps Engineer to own cloud cost optimization across its AWS, Kubernetes, data, and observability infrastructure. The role will establish cost metrics and visibility, identify savings through compute and storage optimization, automate cost analysis, build infrastructure-as-code and GitOps tooling, and partner with Engineering, Finance, and leadership on forecasting and capacity planning. Candidates need at least four years of DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering experience, strong AWS and Kubernetes expertise, Terraform and GitOps experience, scripting or development ability, and proven cloud cost optimization results.
