Description
VAST Data is hiring a Cloud FinOps Engineer to own and optimize cloud costs across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. The role focuses on identifying and executing savings opportunities, evaluating cost impacts of architecture, building cloud-spend visibility, implementing tagging and governance guardrails, and optimizing Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, and Spot Instances. Candidates need at least three years of cloud cost management experience, strong cloud-native infrastructure knowledge, experience with end-to-end cost optimization programs, excellent communication skills, and a bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field, along with hands-on experience in Kubernetes cost allocation, Terraform, Ansible, Python, and cloud cost-management tools.
