AWS is hiring a Cloud Hardware Dev Engineer II to design, develop, validate, qualify, launch, and sustain the Nitro SSD storage hardware platform and related server integration components. The role works across storage, firmware, supply chain, manufacturing quality, customer-manufacturer, and original-design-manufacturer teams to deliver high-performance, vertically integrated storage solutions. It requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent and at least two years of hardware design and development experience for high-volume storage solutions and SSDs; preferred qualifications include advanced storage platform design, NAND flash systems, protocol-stack expertise, and large-scale data-center deployment experience. The position is based in Cupertino, California, with a base salary of 157,300 to 212,800 USD annually.
