Description

CES is hiring a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer for its Infrastructure Services team in Ho Chi Minh. The role owns the design, architecture, implementation, automation, and Infrastructure as Code management of enterprise AWS infrastructure, including multi-account environments, networking, security, disaster recovery, Terraform, CI/CD, containerization, migration, FinOps, and observability. The engineer will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and participate in on-call rotations. The position requires at least five years of hands-on cloud infrastructure or architecture experience, AWS expertise, Terraform proficiency, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, and AWS Solutions Architect and DevOps Engineer Professional certifications.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure engineering or cloud architecture with AWS as the primary platform.
Extensive practical experience with Terraform, including module authorship, state management, and configuring remote backends.
Strong command of AWS CLI and proficiency in Python and/or Bash for automation and operational tooling.
Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
Solid understanding of cloud networking, including routing, DNS, load balancing, security groups, NACLs, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, and hybrid connectivity.
Experience implementing IAM least-privilege, SCPs, and secrets management in a multi-account AWS environment.
Experience with containerization and orchestration, including Docker and Kubernetes or EKS.
Proven ability to architect and uphold Infrastructure as Code frameworks in environments where standards are still evolving.
Experience working with internal business stakeholders and external clients or partners to coordinate cloud infrastructure solutions and communicate service impact.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with AWS CloudFormation alongside Terraform in a mixed Infrastructure as Code environment.
Familiarity with monitoring and observability platforms beyond CloudWatch, such as Grafana.
Exposure to Azure networking and hybrid connectivity in a secondary cloud capacity.
Experience with FinOps tooling or cloud cost management platforms.
Familiarity with cloud network security concepts, including WAF, Shield, GuardDuty, and Security Hub.
