Description

Rackner is hiring a Cloud Infrastructure Support Engineer to maintain the availability, security, and performance of mission-critical systems at a secure government facility in Charlottesville, Virginia. The fully onsite role supports AWS, Linux, Windows, containers, Kubernetes, tenant environments, infrastructure automation, troubleshooting, and DevSecOps workflows, with an anticipated Monday–Friday schedule of 3:00–11:00 p.m. and occasional weekend or holiday coverage. Candidates need an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent IT systems administration experience, and at least three years of relevant secure systems, Linux, AWS, Windows, and infrastructure-automation experience.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field, or 6+ years of IT systems administration experience in place of a degree
Required Previous Experiences: 3+ years supporting secure information systems
3+ years working with Linux operating systems and command-line interfaces
3+ years supporting AWS and container technologies
3+ years administering Windows environments and Active Directory
3+ years using Bash, Ansible, YAML, or similar scripting and configuration tools
1+ year working with infrastructure as code and DevSecOps or continuous-delivery environments using Terraform
1+ year supporting Kubernetes or comparable platform-as-a-service technologies
