Description
Apple is hiring a Principal Cloud Network Engineer to own a critical slice of its global hyperscale cloud network. The role combines network engineering, distributed systems, and compute infrastructure to manage VPCs, subnets, routes, gateways, peering, and transit architectures; forecast and mitigate scale risks; define availability and reliability standards; lead complex reliability initiatives; and advise senior leadership on architecture, risk, cost, and long-term strategy. The position requires at least eight years of network engineering experience, substantial large-scale cloud or hybrid network experience, production availability ownership, and hands-on knowledge of core and cloud-native networking technologies.
