Enlighten is hiring a Cloud Platform Engineer to develop and operate AWS-based cloud infrastructure and software components. The role focuses on infrastructure as code, Kubernetes cluster administration and troubleshooting, container build and automation tooling, Linux systems and shell scripting, and software development in Python or Go. The engineer will design capabilities from prototype through operations, integrate open-source code, troubleshoot complex issues, and work autonomously in a hybrid environment with regular presence in Columbia, Maryland and periodic travel to San Antonio, Texas. A related bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience, a master's with 3 years, or a high school diploma with 9 years is required, along with U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a U.S. government security clearance.
