Description
Roku is hiring a Cloud Platform Engineer to architect, build, and operate a multi-cloud, multi-region platform using Kubernetes and service mesh. The role involves writing Go and Python code, using Docker, Kubernetes, Istio/Envoy, Terraform, and scripting; researching scalable technologies; building security, observability, cost, and migration tooling; applying SRE principles; and mentoring engineers. The position requires 8+ years of relevant experience, strong cloud and Kubernetes expertise, and hands-on experience with agentic systems and AI-powered tooling. Roku generally supports office attendance Monday through Thursday, with Fridays generally flexible for remote work.
