InterSources Inc is hiring a Cloud Security Architect for a 12+ month engagement in Austin, Texas, with a hybrid arrangement requiring two days onsite. The role leads secure-by-default architecture design and implementation across cloud-native, microservices, and AI-enabled systems, ensuring compliance with state and federal frameworks while supporting modernization and transformation initiatives. The position requires substantial information security and systems architecture experience, cloud-native architecture expertise, knowledge of Texas Cybersecurity Framework and NIST 800-53, IAM and Zero Trust expertise, threat modeling, microservices and container security, CSPM, and DevSecOps integration. Preferred qualifications include AI/LLM and data protection experience, executive risk-assessment presentation experience, enterprise security-policy drafting, and CISSP, CISM, or AWS Certified Security Engineer certifications.
