Description
ApTask is staffing a 12–16-week contract Cloud Security Engineer to build and operate a cloud security program across a multi-cloud, SaaS-heavy environment. The role will inventory AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, and material SaaS assets in ServiceNow, assess cloud posture against CIS, CSA, and NIST CSF 2.0 baselines, create account onboarding and monitoring workflows, integrate telemetry into security tools, author runbooks, and maintain steady-state operations. The position is fully remote, pays $80–$85 per hour, and requires hands-on multi-cloud security, ServiceNow workflow and CMDB integration, SIEM/log-pipeline integration, and frontier AI model proficiency.
