Description
Apex is hiring a Cloud Security Engineer, AWS GovCloud to design, implement, maintain, and optimize secure cloud environments supporting U.S. government, DoD, and intelligence community missions. The role covers AWS GovCloud, Azure, and hybrid or multi-cloud security, including IAM, encryption, network segmentation, compliance with NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, RMF, and DoD impact levels, vulnerability assessments, incident response, security automation, and secure CI/CD practices. Candidates must be U.S. citizens, have a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and possess 5–9+ years of cloud security engineering experience. The position requires on-site work five days per week at Apex’s Playa Vista, California office.
