Covestro is hiring a full-time or part-time Cloud Infrastructure Engineer for its High Performance & Quantum Computing team within Digital R&D. The role operates and improves Apache Airflow deployments on AWS EKS, implements ArgoCD, Helm, and GitHub Actions CI/CD, manages Kubernetes workloads and autoscaling, sets up observability, supports custom Airflow components and isolated HPC environments, and contributes to technical documentation and technology scouting. Candidates should have a relevant PhD or equivalent experience, strong infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD skills, software development and parallel-computing knowledge, Airflow experience, Kubernetes expertise, AWS familiarity, and fluent English. The position offers a starting salary of €77,600 to €93,900 per year plus a variable component and is marked hybrid.
