Bloomberg is hiring a Cloud Site Reliability Engineer for its Data Management and Analytics Platform team in Princeton. The role focuses on designing, building, and operating highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure for large-scale data ingestion and analytics platforms. Responsibilities include defining SLIs and SLOs, improving observability, automating infrastructure with Infrastructure as Code, leading incident response and root-cause analysis, optimizing performance and cost, strengthening security, and improving CI/CD pipelines. The position requires at least five years of relevant experience, strong programming and distributed-systems skills, AWS and cloud-platform expertise, and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
