Description
The role installs, configures, tests, administers, monitors, troubleshoots, and sustains operating systems and application software for large clustered systems using cloud technologies and big-data platforms such as COPILOT, Accumulo, Pig, Spark, and Hadoop. It also develops and integrates encryption, decryption, and wrapping/unwrapping services with government cloud components. The position requires six years of Java experience, a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, and experience with distributed big-data technologies, serialization formats, object-oriented systems, and FOSS/COTS integrations.
